Privacy
This page explains how Ujiajiri Enterprises Limited ("Ujiajiri", "we") handles personal data on ujiajiri.ke. We collect the minimum personal data required for each purpose. A separate privacy notice applies on onduu.ke.
Partner profile and application data
When partner applications open, we will collect provider identity, accountable-contact and capability information in order to review and publish profiles. Published profiles contain only information the provider has approved. Providers can request correction or removal of their profile at any time.
Future youth interest and application data
The youth programme is under development and public applications are not open. If a minimal interest process is approved, it will collect only name, contact route, county, adult-age confirmation, current experience, computer and internet access, learning goal, availability and privacy consent — never ID documents or financial details at that stage. If the programme later accepts people under 18, specific safeguarding, parental consent and media-consent terms will be published first.
References and complaints
If you submit a directory concern or act as a reference, we process the information you provide in order to investigate and keep a record of the outcome. We share it only as needed to resolve the matter fairly — for example, putting the substance of a complaint to the provider concerned.
Contact-form and email data
When you email us, we use your address and message to respond. We do not add you to marketing lists without separate consent.
Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you. Ujiajiri and Onduu use separate analytics properties.
Data recipients and processors
Site hosting, email and analytics are provided by third-party processors (currently Cloudflare and Google) acting under their standard data-processing terms. We do not sell personal data.
No automatic transfers
We do not automatically send a learner's, business's or assessment participant's information to an independent provider or to HOSTAFRICA. Any transfer requires a defined purpose, clear notice and appropriate consent or another lawful basis.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, then delete it. Complaint records are retained as long as needed to evidence how the directory is governed.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email us and we will respond.
