How it works

A pathway to opportunity—not a promise of employment or delivery.

Ujiajiri connects practical learning, evidence of capability and independent opportunity. It does not employ every learner, assign every project or guarantee income or outcomes.

For businesses

  1. Define the business problem and desired result.
  2. Browse providers by published capability and evidence.
  3. Review fit, references, scope and terms directly with the provider.
  4. Contract and pay the selected provider directly.
  5. Keep appropriate ownership of business accounts, content and data.
  6. Review delivery, testing and handover against the written agreement.

For providers

  1. Submit accurate identity, accountable-contact and capability information when applications open.
  2. Accept the published standards and disclosure requirements.
  3. Complete the checks relevant to the claims made.
  4. Approve an accurate, review-dated profile.
  5. Contract and deliver directly to clients.
  6. Maintain evidence and respond to corrections or complaints.

For youth

  1. Review the programme requirements when an approved opportunity opens.
  2. Learn in a safe lab or sandbox environment.
  3. Complete a practical assignment and receive clear feedback.
  4. Publish only evidence that has genuinely been reviewed.
  5. Pursue freelancing, employment or suitable partner opportunities independently.
  6. Continue learning without presenting attendance as professional certification.

Responsibility statement

  1. Ujiajiri provides information, standards and introductions. It is not a party to a client-provider contract unless a separate written agreement explicitly says so. A directory listing is not a guarantee of price, availability, suitability or outcome.
